All we ask is you follow the rules and stay active. We will gladly be of help for any questions. So go on and start your posting.
6/5/09 - Thanks to Shiro and Meiyou's great work, the site is reborn with a all new look, plot, and much more. Events will be a plenty. Do note that currently, Meiyou and Shiro have their lives (Might not last long, lol) to do, so when making a character, be patient on judging, the Cadre will get to it soon enough. Have fun with this site folks!
The Land of Fire is a country known for it's forests, which help to give rise to it's shinobi village "hidden in the leaves". This country is one of the largest shinobi-inhabited country in this world, sharing borders with more countries than any other. It is next to Grass, Rain, Waterfall, Sound, River, Tea, and several more and counting.
The Land of Water is a smaller country, but it has a strong shinobi force. This along with the fact that this country is on an island grants great defense against outside threats. The only great danger to Mizu no Kuni is from inside it; ceaseless wars and struggles has caused many inhabitants and shinobi to turn against each other and of course, the country authority.
The Land of Wind is most commonly known for its deserts and extremely dry mountains. Kaze no Kuni is a large shinobi country, much like Hi no Kuni, though it only borders Rain, River, and a few other countries. Most of this land is explored, except for the western borders. It almost makes you wonder what could be lurking there...
The Land of Earth is a more, concealed land, but if you have ever been there, you can easily say that earthen cliff dwellings and mountains make up most of the landscape and scenery. Tsuchi no Kuni is a more, large country that share borders with Waterfall, Grass, Rain, and again, several more unknown countries. Because of their shinobi Village's warlike predilections against Hi no Kuni, their incursion path leads them through smaller countries, namely Kusa.
The Land of Lightning is a land better left to be unexplored, and it remains that way. Kaminari no Kuni is a more larger shinobi-inhabited country in comparison to others, but it only shares one border with a small, unknown country. This is because it sits upon a coastline bordering the ocean.
The Land of Bears is one of the few lands that harbor a shinobi village. The exact area of this country is unknown but it is marked by many forests and mountains. Two hundred years ago, a chakra-enhancing meteor fell here and those who found it referred to is as a fallen star. A hidden village was created based around the usage of this meteor's powers. You'll know where the border of this country is, because there are poisonous fumes. Good luck getting past those.
Ta no Kuni is marked by forests and, obviously, rice fields. The country had been marked by conflict in the past, with wars with neighboring lands, taking a heavy toll on its clans. It was this constant struggle that provided the country with enough reason to welcome Orochimaru in the hopes he could make them powerful. The country shares borders with Hi and two as of yet unnamed countries.
Ame no Kuni is one of the most unrevealed lands in the World. The country resembles most other lands, with forests and such. It is unknown why the country is called Rain, but it may be due to the seasonal showers which give the area more precipitation than other countries. Ame shares borders with Tsuchi, Hi, Kusa, Kawa, Kaze, and Tori. Being centrally located between many of these countries have caused it to be their battleground in past wards. Strife caused the country to adopt strict border control. Any visitors must clearly state their purpose, length of stay and be kept under constant surveillance. This applies even when Ame hosts the Chuunin Exams.
The Wave country is a small island nation which was once under the harsh rule of the shipping baron Gatô. Located off the coast of the Land of Fire, the islands became overrun by poverty because of the strong grip Gatô had over the shipping and transportation in the region. He ruled through fear, and anyone who dared stand in his way he had eliminated as a warning. When Gatô was finally killed, Tazuna the bridge builder was able to finish his bridge and connect the country to the mainland. Thus the bridge allowed the country to become prosperous once again.
Yukigakure no Sato was a small and peaceful country constantly experiencing winter. It went through a period of hardships, until the weather control generator was activated, allowing the land to finally experience Spring. The land had been on economic hard times for several years. Daimyou Kazahana Sousetsu was said to have nearly bankrupted the country putting money into the heating generator machinery. Later when his brother Dotou came to power, the country expended even more funds in weaponry development. After the removal of Daimyo Kazahana Dotou, his niece Kazahana Koyuki rose to power and the country began to flourish once again. The usage of the generator appears to have warmed the valleys of the country, allowing them to experience warmer climates. The surrounding mountains still retain snow however.
Not much is known of the Waterfall Country outside of Hidden Waterfall. The land surrounding the village resembles that of the Fire Country, with large trees and cliffs. The country shares borders with Earth, Grass, Fire and as of yet unnamed country.
